Online forums these days use automated spam detection system to prevent bots from creating
accounts and spamming their forums. However, this automated spam prevent system can be annoying at times as it may even block genuine registration due to technical problems.
Recently, while I was trying to register an account on a forum, the forum was throwing this strange error and wouldn’t let register a new account no matter what I do.
The error looks like this:
The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.
You have provided an invalid answer to the question.
The error “The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again” would appear whenever I click the register button or the submit button. The error becomes annoying if you can’t solve it in the next few tries.
The solution to the problem was simple. Using a different web browser to register the account. Some users may face difficulty while registering the accounts on forums if the use Google Chrome. This could be due to any reason, but changing your current browser is the only solution that seems to be working.
- So, open Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge.
- Open the registration Page and enter the details.
- Click Submit or register button.
If you see “The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.” error again, click on the Register / Submit button once again. If you are facing this error on Firefox or Microsoft Edge, use Chrome to register the account.
